The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for schools to submit updated student enrollment data to Friday this week.
Making the announcement, Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura urged schools to comply with the directive, saying the data is necessary for schools to receive capitation for the third term.
He further lamented that currently, only 3,000 out of 32,000 schools have submitted genuine data and received their third-term funding.
Mwaura also emphasized that timely submission of accurate data will ensure smooth disbursement of funds, enabling schools to adequately prepare for the new term without financial disruptions.
He cautioned institutions against providing false information, warning that those found culpable will face stern action.
